Looking at the near future
While we are working hard on TAGAP 2, that doesn't mean we have abandoned the original TAGAP; On a contrary, we are cooking perhaps the biggest update to date. The biggest new thing will be support for XInput gamepads (Xbox 360 controller, Logitech ChillStream, etc.) so now you can easily play TAGAP on your laptop or TV. And don't worry, the control method is not cursor-based, but closer to shooters on Xbox Live Arcade.
The second big feature in the next update is improved backwards compatibility. Thanks to detailed feedback by the community, I have managed to tweak things so that hopefully most of the issues, especially input related crashes, will be gone.
Finally the renovated TAGAP website is almost done. It's complete redesign, featuring TAGAP blog, section for user submitted downloads. I'm pretty confident that the new site will be up by the next weekend, the following weekend at the latest.
